Ongoing workshops and events for youth, teens and adults
The fall traveling show for 2018 will be Shakespeare's As You Like It. Dates for Hanging Rock As You Like It on the Trails will be October 13 and 14, 2018. We will be traveling with the show inside and outside of the High Point Library on October 6. There will be shows at other venues on Oct. 4, 5, 7, 11 and 12. Mark you calendars now!
ShakesCollage, a compilation of Shakespeare's work was presented to three Title I schools in Guilford County. Major funding for this project was provided by ArtsGreensboro. The actors spent a full day at Northeast, Southern and Western High Schools, performing 4 times throughout the day.
Shared Radiance's ShakesCollage actors also visited seven high schools in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County in Dec. 2017 through May 2018 for full days of performances. This project was supported by the Wells Fargo Foundation, The Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, and the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.
The tour will also visited schools in Charlotte, Raleigh and other areas of North Carolina to perform and present workshops. For information about ShakesCollage contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

Shared Radiance announces auditions for its upcoming production of As You Like It, by William Shakespeare. Auditions will be held on Saturday, June 23 from 12pm to 4pm, and Tuesday, June 26 from 6:30 to 8:30pm. As You Like It will be a non-AEA production with several paid principle roles. Roles are available for men and women with the possibility of cross-gender casting. Auditions will be held at 609 NC Hwy 62 East in Pleasant Garden. Each audition time slot will last no more than ten minutes. Headshots and resumes are recommended, but not required. Brief, prepared Shakespeare monologues are not required, but are welcome.
The experiential show, directed by Sherri Raeford, will be produced in green spaces, libraries and parks, including a 2 day run at Hanging Rock State Park. Audience members will follow the actors from scene to scene. The show will be interactive and foster dynamic relationships between audience members and actors,
As You Like It will rehearse at 609 NC Hwy 62 East in Pleasant Garden beginning mid-August with an initial read- through in July. The show will take place the first two weeks/weekends in October.
Shared Radiance Performing Arts Company produces classical, contemporary and original plays in unexpected and unique venues with an emphasis on Shakespeare. Most shows are experiential and interactive, often traveling through parks and public places. SRPAC is dedicated to outreach, education, and creating quality experiences for every audience member. SRPAC is a member of the North Carolina Theatre Conference and the NC Triad Theatre League.
