Shared Radiance will continue its CAPS partnership with Creative Greensboro, which has enabled us to host meetings at the Greensboro Cultural Arts Center, for our newly formed teen group: the Band of Aspiring Radiant Drama Students (the BARDS). Eppie Jo Miller and Fatima Njie will meet monthly with teenage artists in the area to encourage an environment where teens can feel safe to express themselves and learn a variety of theatrical skills. Todd Fisher, Creative Greensboro’s Performing Arts Coordinator, and producer of our recent collaborative production of The Tempest, is so kind to offer all of the tremendous support and resources that are available through his expertise as well as the organization. All teens and pre-teens in the area are welcome to attend for knowledge, a meeting of talented minds, and a community of BARDS!

What students said about ShakesCollage 2019...
I love this show. The audience participation is something I enjoy because from it stems pure improvisation and comedic moments.
I felt personally motivated from beginning to end. I enjoyed how they involved the audience in the acts and the level of audience participation…
Shared Radiance did a marvelous job of combining Shakespeare’s most iconic words with modern day pop culture and ideas.
All of them brought such a fun spirit to their roles.
(During) the tragedies I actually felt the emotion and it made me sad with them. They are very skilled actors. They are excellent at making the audience feel what the characters are feeling.
They have made learning about Shakespeare an enjoyable experience rather than a boring and dull experience. They all have great personalities and great chemistry. Every time they come it makes me want to get interested in Shakespeare.
