WARNERSVILLE ELEVATION GRANT
We are extremely excited to announce that we have been awarded the Community Elevation Grant along with NEA funding through the Arts Council of Greater Greensboro and are producing a short film featuring the rich history and wonderful people of the Warnersville Community in Greensboro. Shared Radiance, GeoCore Films, Grace Kanoy, Cary Kanoy, Jamila Curry, Sherri Raeford, the stakeholders of Warnersville, and the Arts Council of Greater Greensboro, are collaborating to produce and premier this film on June 29, 2024.
You are invited to an evening of song and dance! Join us for our annual fundraising variety show featuring familiar faces our audiences and patrons might recognize, including a few new ones as well. If you've ever wondered what they would perform if they weren't doing Shakespeare, this is your chance to find out.
Tickets are by donation, and by coming to see the show, you'll be supporting all our efforts and projects - educational programs like ShakesCollage, mainstage shows like The Tempest and Othello, and experimental or new works like Judgmental Much? and Sisters of Mine. The sky's the limit as we work to grow and expand.
Thank you to everyone who supported us!

What students are saying about ShakesCollage....
I love this show. The audience participation is something I enjoy because from it stems pure improvisation and comedic moments.
I felt personally motivated from beginning to end. I enjoyed how they involved the audience in the acts and the level of audience participation…
Shared Radiance did a marvelous job of combining Shakespeare’s most iconic words with modern day pop culture and ideas.
All of them brought such a fun spirit to their roles.
(During) the tragedies I actually felt the emotion and it made me sad with them. They are very skilled actors. They are excellent at making the audience feel what the characters are feeling.
They have made learning about Shakespeare an enjoyable experience rather than a boring and dull experience. They all have great personalities and great chemistry. Every time they come it makes me want to get interested in Shakespeare.

Shared Radiance will continue its CAPS partnership with Creative Greensboro, which has enabled us to host meetings at the Greensboro Cultural Arts Center, for our newly formed teen group: the Band of Aspiring Radiant Drama Students (the BARDS). Eppie Jo Miller and Fatima Njie will meet monthly with teenage artists in the area to encourage an environment where teens can feel safe to express themselves and learn a variety of theatrical skills. Todd Fisher, Creative Greensboro’s Performing Arts Coordinator, and producer of our recent collaborative production of The Tempest, is so kind to offer all of the tremendous support and resources that are available through his expertise as well as the organization. All teens and pre-teens in the area are welcome to attend for knowledge, a meeting of talented minds, and a community of BARDS!
